1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services of SMP Institute of Film & Media ("Institute," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Course Enrollment

2.1 Eligibility

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent.
• There are no mandatory educational prerequisites for enrollment.
• Basic computer literacy is recommended for all courses.

2.2 Application Process

• Complete the online application form with accurate information.
• Submit required documents if requested.
• Pay the applicable course fee to confirm enrollment.
• Admission is subject to seat availability and Institute's discretion.

• Full payment must be made before the course start date.
• EMI options are available through our banking partners.
• Payment can be made via UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, or Wallets.
• All payments are processed securely through Razorpay.

3.3 Fee Inclusions

Course fees include:

• Full course curriculum and materials
• Access to Institute facilities during training hours
• Course completion certificate
• Placement assistance

4. Attendance and Conduct

4.1 Attendance

• Minimum 75% attendance is required to qualify for certification.
• Students must notify the Institute of any planned absences in advance.
• Excessive absences may result in certificate withholding or dismissal.

4.2 Code of Conduct

Students must:

• Behave professionally and respectfully toward faculty and fellow students.
• Handle Institute equipment with care and responsibility.
• Follow safety guidelines and instructions at all times.
• Not engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct.
• Respect intellectual property and copyright laws.

5. Intellectual Property

• All course materials, content, and resources are the property of SMP Institute of Film & Media.
• Students may not reproduce, distribute, or share course materials without permission.
• Student projects created during the course remain the student's property, though the Institute may showcase them for promotional purposes.

6. Certification

• Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course.
• Completion requires minimum attendance and satisfactory project submission.
• Certificates are issued within 2 weeks of course completion.
• Digital certificates are provided; physical certificates available on request.

7. Placement Assistance

• The Institute provides placement assistance, not guaranteed placement.
• Students must actively participate in placement activities and interviews.
• The Institute connects students with industry partners but does not guarantee employment.

8. Batch Changes and Transfers

• Batch changes are subject to availability and Institute approval.
• Requests must be made at least 1 week before the batch start date.
• Only one batch transfer is permitted per enrollment.
• Course transfers are not permitted after 25% of the course duration.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Institute shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the student for the course.

10. Modifications to Terms

The Institute reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
